Restart after Forging Ahead with Enterprise and Fortitude for Ten years:Analysis of Scholarly Impact of University Education Science (2014-2023)
From 2014 to 2023,the Journal of University Education Sciences has published a vast number of high-level research papers on higher education,making outstanding contributions to the reform and practical research of higher education in China and providing an excellent academic platform for young scholars engaged in higher education research.This study collects data from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database on the Journal of University Education Sciences from 2014 to 2023,utilizing Cite Space software to conduct quantitative analyses of core authors and institutions.Furthermore,it analyzes the academic hotspots through keywords of articles published in 2022,mapping knowledge domains and comparing them with peers.A quantitative analysis of the Journal's publications,impact factors,citations and reprints,author teams,and institutions during 2014-2023,indicates remarkable enhancements in social and academic influence.To further elevate the quality and academic impact of the journal,several strategies are proposed:firstly,fully leveraging the role of the editorial board to ensure high-quality solicitations;secondly,strengthening connections with core authors and active researchers in higher education,broadening solicitation channels,and supporting mid-career and young authors;thirdly,aligning with national strategie needs to focus topics,emphasizing the development of special columns,and highlighting the journal's unique features;finally,attaching great importance to online dissemination.
