"Passing in and out":From the Yangming School to the Ganquan School
In the Ming Dynasty,Ganquan School and Yangming School broke through the barriers of sects, allowing disciples to learn from multiple teachers giving rise to a unique educational ecology of "Passing in and out". Influenced by the experience of "coming from Wang and entering Zhan",Jiang Xin took the Ganquan School of Mind as his main lineage and compatible with the Yangming School of Mind and constructed a theoretical system of "the unity of heaven, earth, and all things" with "unity of reason,qi and mind" as the educational entity and "being cautious in solitude" as the approach to effort. Regarding school affiliation,Jiang Xin should be a descendant of the Ganquan School, not a disciple of Yangming School. Jiang Xin's example of teacher-student inheritance not only reflects the changes in the consciousness of sects at the turn of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, warning scholars not to blindly follow the basis for school division dominated by Huang Zongxi's Ming Confucianism;it also reflects the talent training model of mind education in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, which is of great reference significance for the training of top talents today.
