The Semantic and Structural Variation of "Green" in the Network Context
When they comment and communicate on the Internet to pursue the"simplicity,convenience and novelty"in expression,netizens will change the universal meaning and usage of words,leading to the variation of words meaning in the cyber context.This paper takes the monosyllable word"green"as the research object,collects corpus from Weibo and Hupu,categorizes the seven new meanings of"green"in the cyber context,analyzes the extension of these meanings,thus getting to know the Cyber language habits and preferences of netizens,and providing reference for further cyber language research.
