With the rapid development of information technology,Linux operating system,as an outstanding represen-tative of open-source software,has shown strong vitality and broad application prospects in many fields such as servers,cloud computing,big data,and the Internet of Things.As an important base for cultivating high-quality applied talents,ap-plication-oriented undergraduate colleges and universities cultivate professional talents with Linux technology capabilities,which is the key to adapting to industry needs and enhancing students'employment competitiveness.This paper is at-tempted to explore innovative ideas for Linux teaching in applied undergraduate colleges and universities,in order to im-prove students'practical and innovative abilities,enhance teaching quality,and meet market demands.
