Exploring the Teaching Practice of Ba Culture Visual Symbols in the Visual Communication Design Major of Local Applied Universities:A Case Study of Sichuan University of Arts and Science
The visual symbols of Ba culture can help improve the humanistic literacy,cultural self-awareness and con-fidence of college students,and cultivate applied talents.In order to build local application-oriented colleges and universi-ties with distinctive features,the visual communication design major in Sichuan University of Arts and Science should re-vise its talent training plan to incorporate visual symbols of Ba culture into the curriculum system,strengthen the integra-tion of scientific research and integrate visual symbols of Ba culture into school-based textbooks,establish school-based courses to introduce visual symbols of Ba culture into the classroom,implement the"Hundred Thousand"project to culti-vate inheritors of visual symbols of Ba culture.
