The ideological and political education of college students in the new era,is fundamental to the Party's mission and the construction of a modern,powerful socialist country.Currently,the educational work is faced up with di-lemmas and challenges,including the separation of the instructor and the instructed,the disconnection between education-al content and ideological explanation,the decoupling between learning evaluation and experience.It is the very beneficial attempts of solving these problems to integrate veterans visiting into college students'ideological and political education work.The veterans who entered a war,as witness of the history,carried the revolutionary gene,and became the successors of the revolutionary tradition.It is important to master the value connotation of the integration work,manage the working threads,and build"five ones"cultivational bearers.Eventually,the educational model of the integration work could be formed,also be further extended,aiming to foster the new era's contributors,who are patriotic,self-encouragement,truth-seeking,diligent in action,and capable of undertaking the great task of national rejuvenation.
