Nuo opera,hailed as the"living fossil of Chinese opera",is an ancient and mysterious art form.As a unique cultural product of the northern Sichuan region,Nuo opera of Shuangfeng Township in Nanbu County was listed as the second batch of Sichuan Province intangible cultural heritage in 2009.This art form is diverse,with distinct charac-teristics in its performance style and mask art,having considerable artistic value.The research of Nuo opera of Shuangfeng Township in Nanbu County is beneficial for the protection and development of intangible cultural heritage.
