Piano music adapted from folk songs has an important role and great value in music teaching in primary and secondary schools in the revolutionary base areas of Sichuan.Taking Gulin County as an example,this paper ex-pounds the current situation,application experience and difficulties faced by piano music adapted from folk songs in music teaching in primary and secondary schools,and proposes an innovative path to strengthen the application of piano music adapted from folk songs.
