Cultivating virtue and educating people is the fundamental mission of education in the new era.Normal university students are not only learners but also future educators.Based on the characteristics and training requirements of normal majors,the implementation of curriculum teaching should not only cultivate moral individuals among teacher trainees but also prepare them to become future teachers who foster virtue.This study has constructed a pedagogical system for ideological and political education within mathematics subject courses.Taking the elementary mathematics research course as an example,it explores the educational philosophy and objectives,teaching content and ideological points,design concepts for ideological and political education in the curriculum and distinctive features of the course.
