Given two uniformly distributed random points on the interval[0,R],geometric probability models are used to study the probability distribution of their distance.We also consider the asymptotically unbiased estimation and interval estimation for the parameter R.Finally,statistical simulations were conducted via MATLAB to verify our theoretical results.
