On Nernst's theorem and heat capacity statement at absolute zero temperature
It is proved that the Nernst theorem can be directly used to derive the heat capacity statement at ab-solute zero temperature,i.e.,when the temperature approaches absolute zero, the various heat capacities of ther-modynamic systems under different constraints tend to zero. Moreover, the errors in some literatures discussing re-lated issues are pointed out.The results obtained are helpful to the deep understanding of the relationship between the Nernst theorem and the heat capacity statement at absolute zero temperature.
