Reliability Analysis of Redundant Systems with Load Sharing
In order to improve system reliability, the redundancy method of K-out-of-N is commonly used in engineering for system design. When calculating the reliability of the K-out-of-N system,it is usually assumed that all components in the system are independent, that is,there is no dependency between the components. In fact, the load on each component in the system is constantly changing with the increase of failure components, which also affects the failure rate of the components. The reliability modeling and calculation method for K-out-of-N redundant systems with a Weibull distribution are studied. A load sharing reliability model for K-out-of-N redundant systems is established by combining Weibull distribution with acceleration time model, and implementation algorithms and examples are provided.
