Comparison and Analysis of the Differences of Range Hood Noise Test Standards
GB/T 4214.13—2021 "Test method for noise of household and similar electrical appliances-particular requirements for range hoods and other cooking fume extractors devices" was officially implemented in March 2022. Compared with GB/T 17713—2011 "Range hood",GB/T 4214.13—2021 has made major changes in the noise test of range hood. Comparative analysis of the differences between the two standards is carried out from the dimensions of test environment,pretreatment,installation method,microphone layout,measurement surface,sound pressure level and sound power level calculation,and comparative tests are carried out,which can help standard users quickly get familiar with the differences between the two standards and understand the impact of test method changes on test results.
