Analysis of historical earthquakes in north-south seismic belt and characteristics of spatial distribution of lithospheric magnetic field
Using the mobile geomagnetic vector observation data of the north-south seismic belt from the year of 2016 to 2020,combined with the MS≥5.0 earthquake that occurred in the survey area from June 1,2017 to July 1,2021,the spatial distribution of the lithospheric magnetic field and the characteristics of earthquakes in the 2015.0 era in the region were analyzed and summarized. The results indicate that most earthquakes with MS≥5.0 in the north-south seismic belt region exhibit clear positional characteristics in the lithospheric magnetic field, especially near the"0"value line and the weakening of the horizontal vector H amplitude, which are prone to moderate to strong earthquakes in the north-south seismic belt region.Special attention should also be paid to the high gradient zone and the horizontal vector turning towards these positions in the H direction.
