Research of inelastic attenuation and site response of seismic stations in the Shandong area
Using seismic waveforms of 329 ML≥2.0 earthquakes recorded at a total of 113 stations(velocity-type observations)in the Shandong Seismic Network and the neighboring provinces accessed by the network, the inelastic attenuation relationship of the medium and the site response of the stations in Shandong are obtained by using the Atkinson inversion method and the Moya method, respectively.Among them, the inelastic attenuation relation in Shandong is Q(f)=416.7f 0.4728,and the results of site response calculation show that:most of the stations have good foundations, and the site response values fluctuate up and down in 1-2;the site response of some stations has amplification effect in the high-frequency part, which indicates that the foundations are weathered to a certain extent;and the site response of some stations has attenuation in the high-frequency,which indicates that the foundation may have loose sediments. Some stations show attenuation at high frequencies, indicating that there may be soft sedimentary layers at the base of the station. This study can provide more comprehensive basic data for the Shandong seismic network to calculate seismic source parameters and has certain reference significance for station site selection and evaluation, seismic hazard assessment, and seismic engineering design.
