Analysis of background noise of Anhui Huoshan Regional Seismic Array
The Anhui Huoshan regional seismic array was newly built during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. To assess the background noise level of each station of the array, noise analysis was conducted using noise power spectral density and power spectral probability density function methods on background noise data. The results show that, according to the classification standard of station bases, there are 13 Class Ⅰ stations,5 Class Ⅱ stations,1 Class Ⅲ station, and 1 Class Ⅳ station. The overall noise level of the station bases is relatively low,and the selection of the station bases is reasonable. The background noise of the UD component at the CLZ station is relatively high, and it may be necessary to check whether the observation system is working properly. The probability density function distribution of background noise in each station is basically consistent with the power spectral density of background noise, but it contains more details or information.Especially after the superposition of noise power spectral density,it contains information about background noise in both time and frequency dimensions, which can significantly display the distribution of interference, calibration, and other disturbances in frequency and time.
