Analysis of short-term and imminent anomalies of seismic geophysics of Bayanhot quartz pendulum tiltmeter
By collecting and arranging the observed data of the Bayanhot quartz pendulum tiltmeter from 2015 to 2022,using the theory of wavelet analysis, selecting typical earthquake cases, and combining the characteristics of earthquake preparation in the observed area, the short-term and imminent anomalies of the precursor of quartz horizontal pendulum tiltmeter in Bayanhot earthquake are analyzed systematically. The analysis results show that the observed data of the quartz pendulum tiltmeter at Bayanhot Seismic Station have obvious short-term and imminent anomalies for typical earthquake cases;the specific features are tilting, step change, abrupt jump, distortion, and disturbance of the north-south component in a time before the earthquake.Through analysis and demonstration,it is concluded that the short-term and imminent anomaly of the observed data of the Bayanhot quartz pendulum tiltmeter is better than the short-term anomaly, and the duration and size of the anomaly are related to the magnitude and epicenter distance of the earthquake. It can provide an effective reference for the analysis of short-term and imminent anomalies of precursory instruments in the Alxa League and its surrounding areas.
