The earthquake monitoring center station is the management organization of the basic stations and the basic unit of earthquake work departments. During the reform,the operational system of central station monitoring services is constantly improved,and we carry out basic construction,science popularization,and technological innovation about responsibilities and tasks,and we further strengthen the basic foundation of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction. This article takes Tai'an Earthquake Monitoring Center Station as an example to show the changes in the construction content of the center station since the reform and the actual results achieved from three aspects:earthquake science popularization,business transformation and upgrading,and technology empowerment and efficiency enhancement.
