The difference in responses of the water pipe inclinometer and vertical pendulum tiltmeter measurements at the Wlanhot Seismic Station
The ground tilt response data of the same earthquake event recorded by the water pipe inclinometer and vertical pendulum tiltmeter at the Wlanhot Seismic Station were used to compare and analyze the co-seismic response characteristics. The results showed that the maximum response amplitudes of the water pipe inclinometer and vertical pendulum tiltmeter were positively correlated with the magnitude to a moderate extent; The response delay time of the water pipe instrument is moderately positively correlated with the epicenter distance, while the response delay time of the vertical pendulum is strongly positively correlated with the epicenter distance; The response duration of the water pipe instrumentis strongly positively correlated with the magnitude, while the vertical pendulum response duration is moderately positively correlated with the magnitude.
