Site selection and background noise analysis of relocation of Lanzhou Seismic Station
With the advancement of urbanization, the observation environment of the Lanzhou Seismic Station has been subjected to numerous disruptions, resulting in a significant decline in the quality of observational data.To adapt to the new demands of earthquake research, disaster prevention, and mitigation in the new era,it is necessary to select a new location for relocation.Through indoor mapping and planning, the Shichuan site was chosen as the new location. The GL-PCS60 integrated broadband seismograph system was employed to conduct preliminary and detailed exploration work.Additionally, the root mean square(RMS)value of ground motion velocity and noise power spectral density were calculated and analyzed. The results indicate that the observation environment at this site is favorable, meeting the national standard for Class Ⅰ seismic stations.
