In order to detect the spectral center of Gaussian-like digital signals,with QAM signal as an example,this paper use the wavelet decomposition and reconstruction to extract the signal's spectral envelop so that the spectral center estimation problem is transformed into the extreme value detection problem of the spectral envelope.This paper proposes a fast detection method of signal spectrum center based on the discrete particle swarm search using the signal's spectral envelop as the objective function of intelligent search algorithm.Simulation experiments have verified the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.This method can be extended to the sub-channels'spectral centers detection in multi-subband channel,and provides a novel idea for the fast spectral center detection for the Gaussian-like signals in real communication detection.
