High-performance Triboelectric Nanogenerator Based on ZnO Nanosheet Layers and PDMS
With the progress of industrialization, the sustainability challenges of green energy have become increasingly prominent and captured global attention.Under this background, the triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)has attracted widespread interest of the academic community as an emerging energy harvesting technology.Researchers have successively developed various TENG variants, among which the piezoelectric triboelectric nanogenerator(P-TENG)utilizing piezoelectric materials as electrodes demonstrates exceptional output power and significant performance improvement. The effect of piezoelectric materials on the output performance of TENG is further investigated in this paper. An experiment is conducted using polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)-coated piezoelectric interfaces of ZnO nanosheets as the positive electrode material for P-TENG.Compared to TENG that solely employs pristine PDMS as the positive electrode material, the maximum output voltage is increased by approximately 220 V,further validating the role of ZnO nanosheets in improving the output performance of TENG.Under the force of 80 N,the TENG device with ZnO nanosheets prepared by electrochemical deposition exhibites an output voltage of approximately 800 V,a current density of about 14 µA/cm2 and a charge density of approximately 219µC/m2.
