Design of Restraint Device for High Altitude Balloon Envelope
The envelope restraint device is used to fix high altitude balloon during inflation stage,which is the key to determine the successful application of high-altitude balloon.In this paper,based on the function requirements of the restraint device,the defects of the existing restraint scheme are analyzed,and the design principles of the device are proposed.In accordance with the deployment requirements for a 4 000 m3 high-altitude balloon,specific designs have been made for each key component of the envelope restraint device.The working principle of the envelope restraint device is explained by introducing the pneumatic membrane structure analysis method.Modeling and simulation analysis of the envelope restraint device have been conducted,and physical experiments have been carried out for verification.The experimental results show that the envelope restraint device can achieve reliable fixation of the envelope and demonstrate good load adaptation ability.
