Marx's Anti Spiritual Poverty Thought and Its Contemporary Implications:A Text Interpretation Based on the Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts of 1844
In the Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts of 1844(hereinafter referred to as the"Manuscript"),Marx revealed the phenomenon of spiritual poverty in people's spiritual life through in-depth examination of the capitalist mode of production,including low consumption ability of spiritual and cultural products,constraints on spiritual production,and alienation of spiritual communication.The social system root of this spiritual poverty lies in the control of capital logic under capitalist private ownership,and the economic root lies in the constraints of workers'material conditions.The anti spiritual poverty ideas of Marx in the Manuscript have the following inspirations for promoting common prosperity of spiritual life in the new era:Firstly,based on the improvement of the socialist system,establish a sound institutional guarantee for spiritual prosperity;Secondly,taking the high-quality circulation of spiritual products as a path to improve the level of spiritual prosperity;Thirdly,guided by the socialist core values,establish guidelines for harmonious spiritual communication;Fourthly,putting the people at the center,safeguarding the rights and interests of workers to achieve spiritual prosperity.
