After the founding of New China, the state reshaped the identity of rural women.Rural women had completed the transformation from"family person"to"social person"and"national person".Under the background of women's liberation, the spirit of rural women had undergone great changes, which we can call"collective effervescence".The literacy campaign had improved the cultural quality of women.A variety of recreational activities made the dull spare time life in the countryside colorful. With the development of collective production and various educational movements, they gradually formed collectivism and patriotic thoughts. These changes had given them a strong psychological and emotional identity with the state power and the Communist Party of China.
