Though Distant Deographically,the Mainland and the Frontier Enjoy Similar Cultures——Research on Ethnic Communication and Exchange in Shandong Canal Area
Local Chronicles are an indispensable historical data for the study of regional social history.In Ming and Qing dynasties,the connection of the Grand Canal further promoted the development of local Chronicles.All levels of towns in the Canal area have compiled a large number of records,among which there are many historical facts of ethnic exchanges and integration,covering politics,economy,ideology and culture,social life and other aspects,etc,revealing the characteristics and ways of ethnic exchanges and integration.Through the study of ethnic communication and integration in the local Chronicles of Shandong Canal region,it is helpful to understand the formation and development of multi-ethnic groups in Shandong Canal region,and has certain reference significance for the practice of forging the community consciousness of the Chinese nation.
