Identification and Evaluation of Geological Structures in Planned Urban Areas of Coal Mining Areas by Using Comprehensive Electrical Parameters
The northwest Guizhou region contains abundant coal resources. However, safety issues caused by changes in urban underground geological structure due to coal mining have also emerged.Urban underground space is an important growth pole for the future development of cities, and the identification and evaluation of geological structures of underground space in planned urban areas are extremely important. The work proposed a method for quickly identifying the geological structures of the planned urban area in a coal mining area based on electric field theory, redox environment in goaf, and geological laws in coal mining areas.Multiple electrical parameters such as resistivity, current, and natural potential were comprehensively considered, and the geological structure characteristics of the strongly weathered layer, old kiln goaf, and coal mine goaf were evaluated. The results are consistent with field surveys and known engineering projects, and are one of the important basis for geological hazard risk assessment and underground space development and utilization in urban construction sites.Research has shown that this method has advantages such as non-destructive,efficient,green,and low-cost,and is worthy of further research and promotion.
