The large Wulanwuzhuer-Shizisong Ag polymetallic deposit has been newly discovered in the Qimantage area of the western part of the East Kunlun metallogenic belt in recent years. The large area of the deposit is dominated by Palaeozoic Devonian intrusive granite, and the lithology is mainly porphyritic monzonitic granite and monzonitic granite. The structures in the deposit are mainly NW-trending and nearly EW-trending,followed by NNE-and NE-trending. The NW-and nearly EW-trending faults are closely related to the mineralization. Porphyry dykes were observed in the Wulanwuzhuer deposit, which is adjacent to the northern part of the Wulanwuzhuer-Shizisong deposit. The lithology of the prophyry dykes is dominated by granodiorite porphyry and granite porphyry. The prospecting breakthrough in this area is guided by the theory of porphyry metallogenic system and based on the idea of missing prospecting. Based on the analysis of geological data, regional geochemical anomalies and previous work, this work focused on the mineralized tectonic alteration belt beside the field porphyry veins. By comparing the porphyry metallogenic models for East Kunlun metallogenic belt and others in China under collisional orogenic environment, the prospecting model of porphyry-hydrothermal vein type deposits was established, and silver lead-zinc ore bodies were discovered. Comprehensive markers of geological, geochemical, remote sensing and geophysical exploration has been established, which will provide ideas and directions for the prospecting work of the same type of deposits in the region.
