Characteristics and Distribution Law of Landslides in Sandu County,Guizhou Province
This work aims to improve the disaster prevention and reduction capabilities of geological disasters in Sandu County of Guizhou Province. Through data collection, geological disaster investigation, mathematical statistics and GIS spatial analysis, the number and characteristics of landslides in this area were identified, the relationship between landslides and geological structures, engineering geological rock formations, slope structures, slopes, slope shapes, and human engineering activities was analyzed, and the development characteristics and distribution patterns of landslides in the county were summarized. Results show that this area includes a total of 57 landslides, mostly within the slope range of 20°~30°,with a relative height difference of 20~40 m,and the slope shape is mainly convex. In terms of geological structures, the Fengle fault,Dahe fault, and Lantu fault exert a significant impact, with a total of 35 geological hazards in this area. Geological hazards were also developed in the slope areas of soft rock formations, along slope structures, and on both sides of rivers. According to the differences in geological environment and the distribution patterns of landslides, the zoning of disaster prone geological conditions can be classified into complex, moderate, and general ones. This research can provide reference for risk prevention and control in areas with similar geological environment conditions.
