PREDICTION OF ROCK STRENGTH PARAMETERS BASED ON GENE EXPRESSION PROGRAMMING
The shear strength of rock mainly refers to the ability of rock to resist shear slide,which is one of the very important indexes in rock mechanics and engineering.Based on the gene expression programming(GEP)method,a new model for predicting shear strength parameters of limestone is proposed.Using 221 groups of limestone data collected,uniaxial tensile strength,uniaxial compressive strength and confining pressure were selected as input parameters.The comparison with other models shows that the proposed GEP model has better prediction results,and its coefficient of determination is 0.994,which can provide a certain reference for the prediction of rock shear strength parameters.
