In this paper,the design process of AC windings is summarized as the trilogy of"draw-divide-connect"(i.e.draw the expansion figure,divide the pole phase band and con-nect the ends),which has the advantages of the refined expression,easy operation and easy memory.This paper proposes the equivalent drawing of multiple-turn coils,and simultaneously points out that the star figure is not necessary to design the AC windings.
