Performance Research on Permanent Magnet Drum for Belt Conveyor under Different Pole-Slot Matching Modes
In order to realize the stable and efficient operation of permanent magnet drum for belt conveyor,the pole-slot matching mode as an important factor affecting the performance of permanent magnet drum should be studied.Based on the design analysis of permanent mag-net drum for belt conveyor and the selection principle of pole-slot matching mode,this paper es-tablishes the finite-element model under different pole-slot numbers according to technical re-quirements,compares and analyzes the performance parameters such as no-load air-gap flux density,cogging torque,no-load back EMF and torque ripple of permanent magnet drum under different pole-slot matching modes.reveals the influence on its performance,and verifies the ef-fectiveness of the design.The obtained results lay a foundation for further research of permanent magnet drum,and provide the theoretical reference for the practical production and application.
