Reservoir characteristics of Chang6 Member of Yanchang Formation in Wuqi Area,Ordos Basin
To deeply study the geological characteristics of the reservoir in Chang6 Member of Yanchang Formation in Wuqi Area, the pore structure characteristics and fluid mobility of the reservoir in the study area were quantitatively characterized through various analysis tests and the relationship between different diagenesis intensities and physical properties was systematically analyzed. The results show that the reservoir rock type of Chang 6 Member in the study area is feldspar sandstone, and most interstitial materials are ferruginous calcite and chlorite;the reservoir physical properties are poor, and the pore type is mainly residual intergranular pore. The pore structure of the reservoir can be divided into class Ⅰ,class Ⅱ and class Ⅲ,and the corresponding pore-throat size,pore-throat connectivity, and movable fluid saturation become worse in turn. The compaction of Chang 6 Member reservoir in the study area is moderately strong, which mainly reduces the pore space of the reservoir but has little effect on its seepage capacity. The cementation of carbonate minerals and clay minerals reduces the reservoir's physical properties, but chlorite film can effectively preserve the reservoir space. However, dissolution has little effect on the improvement of reservoir physical properties. The above achievements have a certain theoretical guiding value for the comprehensive evaluation and development plan formulation of Yanchang Formation reservoir in Wuqi Area of Ordos Basin.
