In Shanxi Province,the coalbed methane(CBM)reserves are abundant,the industrial system is complete,and the industrial foundation is strong.Two industrialized development bases in Qingshui Basin and the eastern edge of Ordos Basin have been formed,which have played an important leading role and demonstrated significance in the national CBM development pattern.Aiming at the outstanding problems of Shanxi CBM,such as low exploration degree,poor technology adaptability,slow return on investment,and small development scale,this paper systematically described the progress of Shanxi CBM resources and exploration and exploitation,analyzed and examined the problems in the high-quality development of Shanxi CBM exploration and exploitation,and put forward the countermeasures to promote the high-quality development of Shanxi CBM industry with new concepts.It is believed that the work can be carried out in-depth from increasing public welfare exploration investment to continuously increase the supply of high-quality blocks,strengthening supervision and management services to help oil and gas exploration and development,strengthening technical exchanges and mutual understanding to promote the construction of production capacity,and building a stable operating environment to strengthen the support of industrial policy support and other four aspects,to continuously enhance the vitality and momentum of the development of the CBM industry.
