Characteristics and main controlling factors of Chang8 reservoir in Yanwu-Pengyang Area
It is important to systematically study the reservoir's basic characteristics and main controlling factors to further clarify the exploration and development prospects of Chang8 reservoir in Yanwu-Pengyang area. All microscope photos, high pressure mercury injection parameters, and other data in Yanwu-Pengyang area were comprehensively analyzed, and the sedimentary facies distribution and diagenesis in the study area were combined. Then, the petrological and physical characteristics of the reservoir were clarified, and the main controlling factors in the study area were qualitatively and quantitatively characterized. The results show that:1)The lithology of Chang8 reservoir in the study area is mainly lithology of feldspar lithology sandstone and feldspar sandstone;the clastic particles are mostly fine to medium-grained and very fine to fine-grained,with a mainly medium to good sorting and a poor round, which are characterized by low compositional maturity and moderately high structural maturity.2)Porosity of Chang8 reservoir in the study area averages 14.52%,and permeability averages 6.20 mD,which shows a low porosity and particularly low permeability reservoir in general.Intergranular pores and feldspar-dissolved pores are the main storage spaces, and most pores and throats are medium and small pores,or small pores with throats that are thin;and have good sorting ability.3)Sedimentary,diagenesis,and structural-thermal evolution are interrelated in the study area, which jointly control the reservoir physical properties of Chang8 oil formation in Yanwu-Pengyang area.
