Research and application of saturated residual amplitude analysis:A case study of Yinggehai Basin
To clarify the influencing factors of seismic amplitude in target evaluation to identify the fluid properties of Yinggehai Basin, this article researched the seismic amplitude based on fidelity and amplitude preservation data and established the relationship between the seismic amplitude response and the reservoir porosity pore properties,gas-bearing properties, thicknesses, stratigraphic combinations, and wavelet phases. The following understanding has been formed:1)The seismic amplitude of fluids gradually increases as porosity increases;2)The seismic amplitude of the tuned thickness is the largest for the thin layer, and there is a certain linear relationship between the amplitudes and thicknesses;3)The mutual interference of seismic waves mainly influences the effect of stratigraphic combinations on amplitudes;4)The amplitude value gradually increases when the wavelet phase rises between 0° to 90°and reaches the largest when the wavelet phase is 90°;then decreases between 90° to 180°.Moreover,the above pattern repeats between 180° to 360°.The above achievements have obtained true and reliable stratigraphic amplitude information, providing reliable technical support for drilling exploration wells.
