Taking the clear sky index as the parameter to represent outdoor temperature and solar radiation, numerical simulation studies the heat gain by heat transfer of the south wall of buildings in Nanchang,Jiangxi Province under different meteorological conditions in summer. The results show that the temperature of the inner and outer surfaces of the south wall rises with the increase of the clear sky index. In addition, with the increase of the clear sky index, the maximum heat transfer and daily heat gain per unit area of the south wall increase, but the growth rate tends to be gentle with the increase of the clear sky index.Showing that there is a nonlinear relationship between the heat transfer of the south wall and the clear sky index. The results also show that the rational function is used to fit the relationship between the clear sky index and the heat gain by heat transfer of the south wall. And the determination coefficient R2of the fitting equation is above 0.99,showing that the fitting model can predict the heat gain by heat transfer of the south wall of residential buildings in Nanchang under different weather.
