The number of data centers in China is large and the growth rate is fast.A large amount of energy is used in the refrigeration system of data centers every year.The thermal management of data centers faces great challenges.To effectively reduce the energy consumption of the cooling system in a data center,the air distribution in a data center needs to be managed.Floor air supply has become the most widely used air supply scheme in data centers.Plenum is the key structure affecting the air distribution of floor air supply system.This paper introduces the common research methods of air flow organization in data center.The optimization methods in the design process of the plenum are summarized,including the adjustment of the depth of the plenum,the adjustment of the opening rate and the regulation of the arrangement of obstacles.The optimization scheme of auxiliary facilities for plenum in operation data center is summarized,including auxiliary partition board and auxiliary fan,which can provide reference for the design and optimization of plenum in data center.
