As the inheritance of urban context memory,it is of great significance to protect and renew historical buildings.Since the"Dual-Carbon Goals"(realizing carbon peak before 2030 and carbon neutrality before 2060)in China was proposed in 2020,the concept and technology of low-carbon buildings have gradually matured and been widely used in urban construction. However,it has not been fully considered in the research on the protection and regeneration design of historical buildings.Through literature review,it can provide effective theoretical support and scientific basis for the low-carbon regeneration design of historical buildings.Cite Space software was used to visualize and quantitatively analyze the research trends in this field from 2013 to 2022,and to assist with qualitative analysis. The results show that the number of research literatures in the field of historical buildings and low-carbon regeneration design in China is on the rise. The main research content is the authenticity protection and renewal strategy of historical buildings, and there are few studies on carbon emissions and energy-efficiency optimization of historical buildings. Therefore, the use of digital technology and new building energy-efficiency technologies to carry out low-carbon regeneration design of historical buildings will become the focus of future research in this field.
