In recent years, the construction of public buildings in China has shown a rapid development trend, but at the same time, the energy consumption and carbon emissions of public buildings have also increased year by year.In 2022,the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Repulic of China issued the"Implementation Plan for Carbon Peaking in Urban and Rural Construction",which clarified the timetable and roadmap. Therefore, exploring the improvement of green and low-carbon development in public buildings is of great significance. In order to further explore the carbon reduction pathways and evaluate the differences in carbon reduction effects of large-scale public buildings, this article takes Chongqing Guangyang Island International Conference Center as the research object, selects the production and transportation stage of building materials with the highest carbon emissions throughout the entire life cycle, and the construction operation stage as the research scope.Statistical analysis is conducted on the carbon emissions data of buildings in the two stages, and a single factor sensitivity analysis research method is introduced,to identify the sensitivity coefficients of various factors that affect the carbon emissions of buildings and determine the magnitude of their influence.
