Ultra-Low Energy Consumption Retrofitting Methods for Public Buildings in Mild Regions:Case analysis of Yunnan Architectural Technology Development Center
At the end of the last century, the energy efficiency of existing public buildings was generally lower compared to reference buildings, far from meeting current energy-saving standards.A considerable amount of energy is consumed to achieve a certain level of comfort during usage. The ultra-low energy consumption retrofitting design of the office building of Yunnan Architectural Technology Development Center as a typical case is analyzed in order to promote the formulation of energy-saving retrofit standards for existing buildings in urban renewal in mild regions of Yunnan Province, and further improve the guidelines for energy-saving and carbon reduction retrofit of existing public buildings.Based on simulated calculation data and actual detection data, the study systematically analyzed the performance-based design methods and unique structural design measures for ultra-low energy consumption retrofit of existing public buildings in mild regions. The results show that the energy-saving retrofitting measures in Yunnan are different from those in other climate zones, and the retrofit cost is relatively low.By properly retrofitting the building envelope structure to enhance airtightness, the energy consumption index will be greatly reduced, the comfort will be improved, and the ultra-low energy consumption building energy-saving standards can be achieved.
