For a testing single-storey residence using prefabricated steel tube concrete frame structure with building envelope of autoclaved aerated concrete plate(ALC)combining external thermal insulation in severe cold region, the in-situ measurement with non-destructive method was used to carry out continuous testing for a cycle of 119 days during the winter heating period, and the thermal defects of the envelope structure, the indoor hydrothermal environment test, and the thermal performance test of the envelope structure were completed. The results show that there are thermal bridges in the vertical gap junctions of ALC wall plates, the wall corners of concrete filled steel tubular columns, wall feet and windows. The average value of heat transfer coefficient of the construction practice in the testing building is 0.239 W/(m2·K).The heat storage performance of the test room is good. The indoor temperature is slowly reduced until it remains basically constant for seven days after stopped heat. The indoor temperature rises rapidly when heating. The average air temperature of the test room is 22.4℃.The average relative humidity is 53.8%.Thus,the indoor environment is comfortable. It provides real measured data support for the promotion and application of prefabricated steel structures and the selection of thermal insulation systems in severe cold region.
