The communication between students and professors is significantly influenced by the courtyard's wind environment, which plays a significant role in both spatial transition and communication between the two groups. There are very few studies on the spatial organization of building courtyards and a dearth of comparable analysis in the present research, which mostly concentrates on campus design and wind field modeling around existing structures. The courtyard was designed with six various aspect ratios, and two typical entrances were chosen. The static wind zone area ratio and wind speed ratio were used as assessment metrics while analyzing the simulation results using the CFD numerical simulation method and graphical processing software-IPP. The results indicate that, from an overall analysis, there is a positive correlation between the proportion of static wind area and courtyard width-to-height ratio, with the best courtyard wind environment achieved at an aspect ratio of 0.5. From a local analysis, influenced by courtyard openings and primary activity areas, the wind speed ratio is most favorable at a courtyard width-to-height ratio of 0.75 .
