Addressing the issue of high energy consumption and significant energy-saving potential of air conditioning system in airport terminals,this paper proposes a novel method that uses flight information to dynamically predict the number of passengers in different zones at different times,which optimizes the energy-saving control of the air conditioning system.The research focuses on the delineation of air conditioning control zones within terminal buildings,the extraction of effective flight information data,the construction of passenger number model in different zones at different times,and the implementation strategy and steps of energy-saving control levels.Integrating the actual test data of cold source and air conditioning terminal control of a regional airport in South China,the results demonstrate that,while ensuring the comfort of passengers,the operation mode of the air conditioning system is precisely controlled through zonal passenger numbers,the energy consumption is significantly reduced and the energy saving effect is remarkable.This provides a new idea for air conditioning energy-saving technology of the terminal and a reference for other similar airports.
