Due to the complexity of sports buildings and the precision of their functional requirements for indoor wind environment, designers emphasize the importance of active techniques and equipment. In order to adapt to the characteristics of low requirements and relative flexibility for indoor wind environment regulation and control in the non-competition state under the trend of composite sports buildings, the passive ventilation of large and medium-sized gymnasiums in hot summer and cold winter regions is taken as the object of study and explored;orthogonal test methods and CFD simulation software are used to systematically and quantitatively analyze and research the passive ventilation of large and medium-sized gymnasiums based on various influencing factors respectively. Finally, the passive ventilation strategy of large and medium-sized gymnasiums in hot summer and cold winter areas is summarized, and the optimal combination and its optimal results are obtained. It is expected to provide a certain supplement to the research in related fields and form a research framework, and provide a certain reference for the research on passive ventilation of similar buildings in different climatic zones and even other building types.
