Measurement Repeatability and Reproducibility of Hygrothermal Properties of Building Insulation Materials
Understanding the error of parameter test value is the premise of establishing parameter database and improving the accuracy of building performance simulation tool. This paper carried out one-year experiments on the guarded hot plate apparatus, transient plane heat source method, capillary absorption and vacuum saturation of four kinds of building insulation materials, including EPS,XPS,PUR and foam cement, and calculated and obtained the repeatability and reproducibility errors of multiple sets of hygrothermal properties. The results show that the two thermal conductivity experiments and vacuum saturation experiments have good repeatability, and the test itself is reliable under proper control. The experimental error of hygric property is larger than that of thermal conductivity, especially the capillary absorption experiment. The main reason for the error is not only the test principle itself, but also the experimental environment control, the accuracy of the instrument and equipment and the details of the personnel operation.
