Constructing an Innovative Aesthetics Towards the Future——On the Eminent Contributions of Professor Jiang Kongyang's Aesthetic Thoughts
This paper serves as the centennial commemoration to Professor Jiang Kongyang.It contains two parts.The first part is about the aesthetic theories,including the theoretical development from the entity theory on beauty to the theory of relations,from the ready-made theory to the creation-generation theory,from the mere epistemology to ontology,as well as the theoretical innovations in terms of the theory of sense of beauty,methodology,etc.The second part focuses on Prof.Jiang's eminent contributions to the history of Sino-foreign aesthetics and literary theory,including the classical studies ranging from German Classical Aesthetics to The History of Western Aesthetics,the pioneering studies on Chinese classical aesthetics,especially the aesthetics of music in the pre-Qin period and the aesthetics of Chinese poems and paintings,as well as the innovative studies on comparative aesthetics and literary theory.
