From the Integration and Adaptation Perspective:A Case Study about the Cultural Embeddedness of Financial Enterprises'Subsidiaries in Regional Situation
Given that financial enterprise violations are happening with increasing frequency,many scholars gradually realize that corporate culture may become an important reason for the failure of risk management and control.This paper selects Shanghai Pudong Development Bank as the research object to start a case study on the issue involving the cultural embeddedness of financial enterprise subsidiaries in different regional situations.It is found that the cultural embeddedness of financial enterprise subsidiaries faces the pressures from consistency and adaptability demand,which may result in the failures of cultural control.What's more,we provide three strategies to help subsidiaries solve different pressures of cultural embeddedness including system strategy,affective strategy,and hybrid strategy.Finally,this study attempts to summarize a typical analysis path to cope with the pressures of cultural embeddedness,which may play a guide role for subsidiaries in different regional situations.
