基于石墨烯/WS2可饱和吸收体的中红外Er3+:ZBLAN锁模激光器及其波长可调谐性能

石墨烯与过渡金属硫化物WS2具有稳定的化学性质和宽带吸收光谱,可以实现中红外波段激光的脉冲运转.本文报道了石墨烯/WS2作为可饱和吸收体在中红外波段锁模激光器中的应用,实验证明石墨烯/WS2复合材料具有更好的非线性吸收特性,锁模调制时表现出低的锁模阈值和高的材料损伤阈值.当泵浦功率为5 W时,激光器在2781.7 nm处得到了脉冲宽度为24.04 ps的锁模脉冲,激光器的最大平均输出功率为237.7 mW,峰值功率为395.5 W.最后,通过光栅实现了激光器的波长可调谐输出,将石墨烯/WS2锁模激光器的输出波长范围拓宽为2730~2810 nm.
Mid Infrared Er3+:ZBLAN Mode-locked Laser and Wavelength Tunable Performance Based on Graphene/WS2 Saturated Absorber
Graphene and transition metal sulfide WS2 have stable chemical properties and broadband absorption spectra,which can realize the pulse operation of laser in the mid-infrared band.This paper reports the application of graphene and WS2 as saturable absorbers in mode-locked lasers in mid-infrared band.Experiments show that gra-phene/WS2 composites have better nonlinear absorption characteristics,and exhibit low mode-locked threshold and high material damage threshold during mode-locked modulation.When the pump power is 5 W,The mode-locked pulse with pulse width of 24.04 ps was obtained at 2781.7 nm.The maximum average output power of the laser was 237.7 mW and the peak power was 395.5 W.Finally,the wavelength tunable output of the laser is realized by grat-ing,and the output wavelength of the graphene/WS2 mode-locked laser is widened to 2730-2810 nm.
