Geographical Variation of Phenotypic Traits of Cones for Abies holophylla
Phenotypic traits of height ,diameter ,height-to-diameter ratio of cones for 10 collected provenances of Abies holophylla in natural distribution area in China were studied .Geographic variation of phenotypic traits of cones with different provenances for cones of Abies holophylla were explored .Result shows that :for the purposes of the phenotypic traits of cones ,phenotypic traits of cones with different provenances have significant differences ;a-mong them ,the optimal provenances are in Liaoning Province ;Dongjing City and Linko City followed ;Jilin Region&Halin City are the worst ;phenotypic traits of cones with different provenances of Abies holophylla show regularity variation trend from the southwest of distribution area to the northeast .The height ,diameter & weight of cones de-crease w ith the increase of the altitude .
